Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reda Blavette got the match started through his kick off. Bruno Bergere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clement Arnould having to interfere. Guy Brelivet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Clement Arnould tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Fleurbaix's Clement Arnould got control of the ball when Bruno Bergere tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Villeneuve's goal looked a bit too open when Reda Blavette came free, but Geoffroy Hagnere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Thetiot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geoffroy Hagnere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Fleurbaix's Clement Arnould got control of the ball when Bruno Bergere tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villeneuve's Geoffroy Hagnere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Thetiot in the 23rd minute of play. Guy Brelivet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clement Arnould having to interfere. Joel Thetiot struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Geoffroy Hagnere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fleurbaix. 30 minutes into the game, Remi Butez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villeneuve's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fleurbaix the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Villeneuve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remi Butez to maneuver through the defense. Geoffroy Hagnere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reda Blavette in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Fleurbaix's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bruno Bergere fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Bruno Bergere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villeneuve's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Bergere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clement Arnould breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Villeneuve's Guy Brelivet in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fleurbaix's goalie prevented a goal. Remi Butez got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 42nd match minute, Villeneuve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remi Butez to maneuver through the defense. Joel Thetiot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reda Blavette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Bergere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fleurbaix's goalkeeper Clement Arnould, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 53 minutes of play, Fleurbaix's Joel Thetiot made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geoffroy Hagnere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fleurbaix's Clement Arnould played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Bergere in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villeneuve's zone, Joel Thetiot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geoffroy Hagnere came out of the goal and Joel Thetiot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Bergere struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Clement Arnould didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villeneuve. In the 80th minute, Fleurbaix's Joel Thetiot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The supporters of Fleurbaix booed when Villeneuve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Hauser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Joffrey Huc sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Villeneuve's Geoffroy Hagnere didn't even have to move. After having played for 89 minutes, Bruno Bergere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villeneuve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Bergere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reda Blavette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geoffroy Hagnere having to make a save. In the 97th minute, one of Villeneuve:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villeneuve. The goalkeeper, Geoffroy Hagnere, was totally fooled by Fleurbaix's Joffrey Huc, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Fleurbaix supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fleurbaix would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
