Hector Charles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rocton having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Rocton was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Redouane Carret took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charly Laffont. Roubaix's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau in the 17th minute of play forced Prevote's goalkeeper Roman Rocton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hector Charles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Rocton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Rocton was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félicien Auffret in the 31st minute of play forced Roubaix's goalkeeper Charly Laffont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noureddine Canu to strike the kick off in the second half. Charly Laffont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Canu in the 53rd minute of play. Roman Rocton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Perot, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Charles in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Rocton saved Prevote from getting behind. Félicien Auffret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charly Laffont having to interfere. Roman Rocton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Hector Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Roman Rocton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prevote's Roman Rocton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Noureddine Canu sped through Roubaix's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charly Laffont. Benoit Vigoureux's late challenge caught a Prevote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benoit Vigoureux helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Roubaix got a freekick which was hit by Benoit Vigoureux. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Noureddine Canu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prevote's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Canu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charly Laffont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Roubaix supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Prevote's performance. The match ended with a win for Prevote.
