Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roubaix's Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Isaac kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Hector Charles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youri Legentil having to interfere. Youri Legentil came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Roubaix's Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau. But to his dismay, Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Simon Isaac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Youri Legentil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Charles in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Roubaix booed when Thièze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Bore didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Benoit Vigoureux heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Roubaix's Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thièze's goalie prevented a goal. Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youri Legentil having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Tommy Nail mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thièze and the Roubaix players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Thièze got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Nail. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Ange Ansel made the kick off in the second half. Simon Isaac hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Martial Carrette sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Thièze's Youri Legentil didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Thièze's zone, Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Youri Legentil came out of the goal and Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Roubaix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Antoine Auzanneau couldn't finish the play. Tommy Nail hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Victorien Pontonnier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Jocelyn Chaudier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Roubaix's goal looked a bit too open when Victorien Pontonnier came free, but Charly Laffont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Roubaix eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
