Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adam Rabiller started the match with the kick off. Carpiquet's Bixente Busch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Rabiller in the 6th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Carpiquet got a freekick which was hit by Roland Contat. In the 20th match minute, Carpiquet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentin Langlais to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tanguy Taverne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guentrange's Jean-Paul Daurat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tanguy Taverne struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jean-Paul Daurat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpiquet. Bixente Busch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Thouvenot in the 27th minute of play. Steven Thouvenot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Bixente Busch made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Rabiller in the 40th minute of play forced Carpiquet's goalkeeper Bixente Busch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Adam Rabiller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guentrange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Steven Thouvenot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bixente Busch having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tanguy Taverne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tanguy Taverne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bixente Busch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Rabiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bixente Busch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Thouvenot in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Carpiquet's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Thouvenot came free, but Bixente Busch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Guentrange booed when Carpiquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Lacroix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guentrange's Steven Thouvenot got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bixente Busch came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Guentrange's Steven Thouvenot. But to his dismay, Steven Thouvenot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Carpiquet's Tanguy Taverne got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Steven Thouvenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bixente Busch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentin Langlais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Paul Daurat having to interfere. A collision led to Carpiquet getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Herve Mader hit a great ball. Adam Rabiller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bixente Busch having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guentrange had won after a very even match.
