François-Xavier Collange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anthony Masclet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ostrohove's Anthony Masclet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ostrohove from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Millière's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Forel came free, but Olivier Neff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Millière's Olivier Neff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomon Forel in the 12th minute of play. Anthony Masclet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noël Halle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, François-Xavier Collange reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anthony Masclet. The goal made the score 1-0. Olivier Neff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofyane Mailly in the 27th minute of play. Mustapha Sabot's late challenge caught a Ostrohove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustapha Sabot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Millière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustapha Sabot to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofyane Mailly in the 29th minute of play forced Millière's goalkeeper Olivier Neff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sofyane Mailly came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ostrohove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sofyane Mailly couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

François-Xavier Collange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Masclet having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ostrohove's zone, Éric Labarthe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Masclet came out of the goal and Éric Labarthe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ostrohove booed when Millière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noël Halle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Antier charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Antier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ostrohove getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tony Antier hit a great ball. Noël Halle took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Masclet. Anthony Masclet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Millière's Mustapha Sabot got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Mustapha Sabot off the ground. Mustapha Sabot hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Olivier Neff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofyane Mailly's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Millière's zone, Sofyane Mailly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivier Neff came out of the goal and Sofyane Mailly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salomon Forel got free with Olivier Neff in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Éric Labarthe fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millière's protests and gave Éric Labarthe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Millière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éric Labarthe to maneuver through the defense.
