In the 4th match minute, Croix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierrick Guillet to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Passage's Noel Gaze broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Emeric Legoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Passage's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Moussu came free, but Remi Pitiot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Christian Moussu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christian Moussu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Pitiot having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Croix's Mario Barat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remi Pitiot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Faudel Largilliere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Croix's zone, Emeric Legoux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Thiéblemont came out of the goal and Emeric Legoux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Faudel Largilliere, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Simon Thiéblemont was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emeric Legoux in the 38th minute of play forced Croix's goalkeeper Simon Thiéblemont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Passage booed when Croix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Pitou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faudel Largilliere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Thiéblemont having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faudel Largilliere to strike the kick off in the second half. Emeric Legoux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Simon Thiéblemont made a huge save. Simon Thiéblemont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emeric Legoux in the 53rd minute. If Mario Barat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka Edet hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Emeric Legoux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Simon Thiéblemont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mario Barat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th match minute, Croix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Cauchois to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Mario Barat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remi Pitiot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Moussu might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remi Pitiot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Moussu ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Croix's Simon Thiéblemont got control of the ball when Emeric Legoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Croix getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jack Laurain hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Noel Gaze shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Thiéblemont showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Passage were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Croix to leave the ground with a draw.
