Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stephane Vila got the match started through his kick off. Antonin Davesne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyril Duthilleul's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Marin's Stephane Vila made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonin Davesne was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Marin got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Roudil. 22 minutes into the game, John Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Difroud the free kick. John Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Francois Gigan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sidney Tinel came out and tried to block the shot, but Francois Gigan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. Antonin Davesne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Roudil in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Tapie got free with Sidney Tinel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidney Tinel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francois Gigan in the 36th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Stephane Vila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Difroud's Antonin Davesne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Tapie got free with Sidney Tinel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francois Gigan made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Difroud's goal looked a bit too open when Stephane Vila came free, but Antonin Davesne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyril Duthilleul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Antonin Davesne made a huge save. Difroud's Alain Tapie got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonin Davesne didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. When Cyril Duthilleul came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Marin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyril Duthilleul couldn't finish the play. Difroud's Antonin Davesne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephane Vila in the 77th minute of play. Francois Gigan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Sidney Tinel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Difroud. If Stephane Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francois Gigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sidney Tinel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marin getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. John Furlan hit a great ball. Pierre Pauleau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sidney Tinel. Marin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 95 minutes, Bernard Lampin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Difroud and the Marin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Difroud getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bernard Lampin hit a great ball. A hard shot by Maxime Heckel from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Antonin Davesne's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Marin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
