Justin Montels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reda Wallerand in the 15th minute of play forced Francheville's goalkeeper Ronan Ferret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavian Pivert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Montels having to interfere. Reda Wallerand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Ferret having to make a save. Reda Wallerand struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ronan Ferret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malataverne. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Charly Imbault managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malataverne's supporters rose to their feet, but Charly Imbault was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronan Ferret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charly Imbault struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ronan Ferret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malataverne. Sofiane Rea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Édouard Fougeray during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reda Wallerand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Marie Sélosse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Teyssandier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronan Ferret firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 58 played minutes Francheville got a freekick which was hit by Redouane Ciret. Malataverne's Tim Jouanin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ronan Ferret but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Flavian Pivert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Francheville's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavian Pivert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Montels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavian Pivert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jean-Marie Sélosse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charly Imbault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ronan Ferret made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Sofiane Rea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Francheville's Flavian Pivert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justin Montels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 85 minutes into the match, Malataverne's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marie Sélosse came free, but Justin Montels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Flavian Pivert made a precise shot to the right of Justin Montels. Malataverne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 98th minute, Charly Imbault ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronan Ferret was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
