The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hamid Douchet hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Harold Larguier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Sidibe having to interfere. Rachid Sidibe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Larguier, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Hamid Douchet came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Bouliac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Douchet couldn't finish the play. If Octave Veyssiere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Bouliac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batiste Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Bouliac got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Bayart. When Hamel's Leopold Dez in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bouliac's goalie prevented a goal. Harold Larguier might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rachid Sidibe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harold Larguier ran back to his position shaking his head. Harold Larguier scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rachid Sidibe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octave Veyssiere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alfred Petetin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamid Douchet got free with Alfred Petetin in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Bouliac defense, Harold Larguier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rachid Sidibe. The Bouliac fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Sidibe should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopold Dez was the one to do the kick off. Hamid Douchet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alfred Petetin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold Larguier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Sidibe having to interfere. Hamel's Alfred Petetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Douchet in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hamel's Franck Dassonneville got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Octave Veyssiere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alfred Petetin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Leopold Dez came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hamel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopold Dez couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Hamel's Leopold Dez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rachid Sidibe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Hamel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bouliac:s goal. Franck Dassonneville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
