The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cheikh Poly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djimmy Cren having to interfere. Djimmy Cren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Vernon, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lenny Vernon to strike the kick off in the second half. Cheikh Poly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Lenny Vernon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menton's Djimmy Cren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Caillault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geoffrey Rondot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
