Jean-Marc Michel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Billot, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Chenove's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Droin came free, but Tommy Amat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Amat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Quilichini in the 60th minute of play. Gilbert Billot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jean-Marc Michel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Chenove's Gilbert Billot made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Marc Michel was left in no man's land by his defense there!
