Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Harfleur getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Yazid Tillard hit a great ball. Clem Mougenot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Domenech in the 7th minute of play. When Thumeries's Regis Ferlin in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harfleur's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Thumeries's zone, Jérôme Place stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Menier came out of the goal and Jérôme Place tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Thumeries's Jean-Philippe Domenech got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Jérôme Place had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Thumeries got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Bacon. Harfleur's Olivier Ledez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Menier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérôme Place in the 31st minute of the match. Jérôme Place received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manuel Menier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Anger was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 34 played minutes Thumeries got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Anger. Manuel Menier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jérôme Place's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Manuel Menier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Ledez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 52nd play minute Olivier Ledez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Menier. 0-2. If Olivier Ledez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yann Mangot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivier Ledez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Manuel Menier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 64 minutes of play, Thumeries's Yann Mangot made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clem Mougenot was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérôme Place in the 68th minute of play forced Thumeries's goalkeeper Manuel Menier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Harfleur were awarded a corner. Yazid Tillard went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Olivier Ledez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Olivier Ledez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Menier was a little too slow when Jérôme Place got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Harfleur's zone, Yann Mangot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clem Mougenot came out of the goal and Yann Mangot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Jérôme Place recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Menier. Jérôme Place showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4.
