Nathanaël Hanriot came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Caro's Nicolas Thiebaud. But to his dismay, Nicolas Thiebaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nathanaël Hanriot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Linossier in the 10th minute of play. Nathan Linossier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
