Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bourdaisière's Bastien Lecerf got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Rognac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Coussy to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes, Bourdaisière's Joey Grandjean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrice Groleau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bourdaisière reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philippe Jenny in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugues Jankowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Philippe Jenny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugues Jankowski having to make a save. Rognac's Patrice Groleau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Nouaille in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Bourdaisière's Hugues Jankowski got control of the ball when Samuel Clemencon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Nouaille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Patrice Groleau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bastien Lecerf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourdaisière's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastien Lecerf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrice Groleau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Nouaille in the 40th minute of play forced Rognac's goalkeeper Patrice Groleau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bastien Lecerf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philippe Jenny stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugues Jankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe Jenny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathieu Grellier during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bourdaisière getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mathieu Grellier hit a great ball. If Denis Nouaille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugues Jankowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Clemencon in the 68th minute of play. When Bastien Lecerf came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Bourdaisière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastien Lecerf couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Benjamin Coussy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugues Jankowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Samuel Clemencon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Coussy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
