Bourdaisière's Hugues Jankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Brou in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmond Bonet during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmond Bonet hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Hugues Jankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Brou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Truchet might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugues Jankowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Truchet ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Eschau's Edgard Truchet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugues Jankowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Bourdaisière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Grellier to maneuver through the defense. Hugues Jankowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rodolphe Bailly. In the 27th minute, Edmond Bonet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 30 in the game by Edgard Truchet from a close distance when the talented Hugues Jankowski managed to make a qualified save. Bourdaisière's players were relieved. Bourdaisière's Hugues Jankowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Bourdaisière from getting a goal against them. If Lenny Brou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmond Bonet was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. In the 38th match minute, Bourdaisière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Bonet to maneuver through the defense. Bourdaisière's Hugues Jankowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Bourdaisière from getting a goal against them. Fabien Etchegaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Nouaille in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Bourdaisière's Denis Nouaille sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Etchegaray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Nouaille stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Denis Nouaille recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabien Etchegaray. Denis Nouaille showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Denis Nouaille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Eschau got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Dreau. In the 69th minute, Joey Grandjean sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eschau's Fabien Etchegaray didn't even have to move. The supporters of Bourdaisière booed when Eschau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alban Lascaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Bart Bonnaire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugues Jankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Brou in the 75th minute of the match. Bourdaisière were furious when Malcom Prudhon was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Bourdaisière:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eschau:s goal. The referee gave Eschau a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodolphe Bailly, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bourdaisière's Hugues Jankowski. 3-1. Hugues Jankowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Brou, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Lenny Brou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugues Jankowski having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Lenny Brou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugues Jankowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 92 minutes into the match, Bourdaisière's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Truchet came free, but Hugues Jankowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Bourdaisière got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Lecerf. Hugues Jankowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Brou, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bourdaisière's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
