Donovan Merville blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre-Henri Priou having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Junior Espié reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calvin Nogues. The goal made the score 3-0. Pierre-Henri Priou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clement Lecuyer in the 38th minute of play. Calvin Nogues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronan Pivot in the 43rd minute. Ewan Kaminski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Wittelsheim's Pierre-Henri Priou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clement Lecuyer in the 48th minute of play.
Calvin Nogues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Espié, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes of play, Wittelsheim's Ronan Pivot made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calvin Nogues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Djimmy Bansard kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Clement Lecuyer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ronan Pivot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittelsheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronan Pivot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calvin Nogues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eugene Jouanny fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquet's protests and gave Eugene Jouanny a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Ranquet:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wittelsheim:s goal. After a rather tough play, Wittelsheim's Ewan Kaminski got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Yvan Leleu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djimmy Bansard hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Ronan Pivot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Nogues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yvan Leleu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yvan Leleu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ranquet players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wittelsheim.
