After 4 played minutes, Kirbon's Harry Marguerie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anthony Bès came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kirbon reached it. Christian Lamart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Amaury Besson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avouzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirbon the free kick. If Tristan Bozon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christian Lamart came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Kirbon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Lamart couldn't finish the play. Alou Dautel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Bès showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Bozon in the 26th minute of the match. Rudy Baran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lacassagne having to interfere. If Faustin Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Kirbon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alou Dautel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Lamart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alou Dautel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute, Faustin Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Rudy Baran in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Alou Dautel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Lacassagne was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Bruno Lacassagne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudy Baran went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Rudy Baran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Avouzon's goalkeeper Anthony Bès had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Bozon. In the 83rd minute, Rudy Baran made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Lacassagne. Kirbon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Tristan Bozon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirbon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Bozon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirbon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
