After some careless play in the Grigny defense, Tristan Bozon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildas Lambinet. The Grigny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildas Lambinet should have stopped the shot. Faudel Reynes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Arthur Lavabre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirbon's Bruno Lacassagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Schuller in the 26th minute of play. Tristan Bozon in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gildas Lambinet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Lamart in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildas Lambinet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Tristan Bozon made a precise shot to the right of Gildas Lambinet. Grigny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 48th minute, Tristan Bozon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kirbon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Christian Lamart made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Lacassagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Schuller in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute Luka Schuller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Lacassagne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Kirbon got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Reynes. In the 71stth minute of the game Christian Lamart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grigny's Gildas Lambinet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Christian Lamart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kirbon's Bruno Lacassagne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Kirbon from getting a goal against them. Luka Schuller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bruno Lacassagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Lavabre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Lamart took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildas Lambinet. Gildas Lambinet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Grigny's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
