Harfleur's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carl Pietri in the 49th minute. The corner led Harfleur's Carl Pietri to fire away a dangerous shot which Robin Cornu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Soucarié's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierrick Riva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Harfleur's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
