Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When François-Xavier Stalin came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Capinghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that François-Xavier Stalin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Grave's Bastien Chavatte got a free kick in the 10th minute. Thibaut Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Lanoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Grave defense, Émilien Jubault kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thibaut Molina. The Grave fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Molina should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Lanoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Etienne Mortreux hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Thibaut Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Lanoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Émilien Jubault's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Molina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. William Flory's late challenge caught a Grave's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 84th minute, William Flory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Capinghem's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ripert came free, but Léopold Guyomard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Lanoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Thibaut Molina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grave's Thibaut Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Flory in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Lanoy in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Molina saved Grave from getting behind. Capinghem walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
