Christopher Vauzelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Rimbault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Omer Rimbault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Villemomble booed when Holtzheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Patrac didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Eymeric Thiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Vauzelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Pierre-Emmanuel Delobelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holtzheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre-Emmanuel Delobelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
