John-David Guillier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximilien Boivin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John-David Guillier having to make a save. John-David Guillier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilien Boivin in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Houplin's zone, Regis Adel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John-David Guillier came out of the goal and Regis Adel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Houplin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Maximilien Boivin scored to the left of an out of position John-David Guillier, making the score, 1-0. Gérard Dumas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morgan Cressent hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Houplin's goalkeeper John-David Guillier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Regis Adel. Edmond Dartiguelongue kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Eric Rocheteau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gérard Dumas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gérard Dumas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Rocheteau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédéric Marcq in the 28th minute of the match. John-David Guillier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilien Boivin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Edmond Dartiguelongue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Houplin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beuvange the free kick. Edmond Dartiguelongue hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. John-David Guillier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilien Boivin in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Houplin booed when Beuvange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Cressent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Simon Sebille shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Rocheteau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg John-David Guillier managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Beuvange's Regis Adel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jean-Michel Fougeron hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Beuvange's Arthur Retailleau shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by John-David Guillier but with some difficulty. In the 45th minute, Morgan Cressent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Maximilien Boivin made the kick off in the second half. Gérard Dumas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Rocheteau came out and tried to block the shot, but Gérard Dumas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Gérard Dumas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Morgan Cressent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John-David Guillier came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Beuvange's Maximilien Boivin. But to his dismay, Maximilien Boivin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 73 minutes into the match, Beuvange's goalkeeper Eric Rocheteau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frédéric Marcq. John-David Guillier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilien Boivin in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilien Boivin in the 83rd minute of play forced Houplin's goalkeeper John-David Guillier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Beuvange's zone, Frédéric Marcq stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Rocheteau came out of the goal and Frédéric Marcq tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beuvange succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Houplin had controlled the match.
