If Jocelyn Soula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Harmand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul-Émile Gaudre having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Vedene got a freekick which was hit by Noa Joubin. With a little luck, Vedene's Paul-Émile Gaudre got control of the ball when Salomon Harmand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jocelyn Soula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopold Audebert having to interfere. Leopold Audebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Carli in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Salomon Harmand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portiragnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomon Harmand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopold Audebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Carli in the 34th minute of the match. Salomon Harmand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Romeo Brohan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul-Émile Gaudre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salomon Harmand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul-Émile Gaudre having to make a save. If Jolan Loubière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Eugene Citerne hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Kevin Amsellem's long shot passed Leopold Audebert's right side. It was 2-3, 75 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Gilles Gasser fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leopold Audebert, passed just outside the right post. Leopold Audebert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jocelyn Soula in the 95th minute. If Jocelyn Soula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute.
