Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Henriet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alexandre Henriet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Pascal Gauvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Henriet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Edmond Seon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Donald Bretel fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avully's protests and gave Donald Bretel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Avully getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Donald Bretel hit a great ball. Gerald Dury might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Seon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerald Dury ran back to his position shaking his head. When Alexandre Henriet came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Avully fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Henriet couldn't finish the play. Gerald Dury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Seon having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Alexandre Henriet rounded Volvic's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Firmin Bunel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avully's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volvic the free kick. Firmin Bunel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hubert Cabanel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Francois-Xavier Berthaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avully's Firmin Bunel got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Firmin Bunel off the ground. In the 42nd minute, Firmin Bunel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerald Dury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Edmond Seon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hubert Cabanel to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Roland Helin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volvic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Helin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francois-Xavier Berthaud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Helin in the 58th minute. Francois-Xavier Berthaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Cabanel in the 61st minute of play. Gerald Dury blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Seon having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Donald Bretel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Volvic's Edmond Seon. Edmond Seon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Roland Helin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gerald Dury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avully's Francois-Xavier Berthaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Cabanel in the 79th minute of play. Hubert Cabanel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donald Bretel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avully's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
