Jerome Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tristan Grancher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwan Cipriani having to interfere. In the 16th minute Theophile Le Lay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Serin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Theophile Le Lay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cres's supporters rose to their feet, but Theophile Le Lay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Serin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theophile Le Lay in the 28th minute of play forced Versannat's goalkeeper Moise Serin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moise Serin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theophile Le Lay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tristan Grancher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Erwan Cipriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilien Brizard to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cres were awarded a corner. Patrice Cuvillier went to the cornerflag to take it. Emilien Brizard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Serin having to interfere. Flavian Le Men's late challenge caught a Cres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavian Le Men helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Versannat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavian Le Men to maneuver through the defense. Moise Serin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilien Brizard in the 72nd minute of play. Maxence Drame hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Emilien Brizard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Moise Serin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Serin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilien Brizard in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Versannat's zone, Emilien Brizard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Serin came out of the goal and Emilien Brizard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
