Augustin Clisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cessenaz's goalkeeper Augustin Clisson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cessenaz's zone, Firmin Ball stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Clisson came out of the goal and Firmin Ball tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Bastien Veyre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cessenaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pauline the free kick. Éloi Pedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pauline booed when Cessenaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Cardon didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 29th minute of the match Bastien Veyre completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bastien Veyre a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cessenaz getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bastien Veyre hit a great ball. Éloi Pedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harold Audin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Hellec in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Hellec in the 37th minute of play forced Pauline's goalkeeper Harold Audin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joris Oudart's late challenge caught a Cessenaz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joris Oudart helped the player get up and apologised. Joris Oudart kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Alex Hellec made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Joris Oudart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Firmin Ball recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Firmin Ball might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augustin Clisson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florentin Chanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Clisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éloi Pedro in the 77th minute of the match. Alex Hellec struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Harold Audin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cessenaz. Augustin Clisson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firmin Ball, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaud Picon kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Pauline's Hervé Latapie couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cessenaz. Augustin Clisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firmin Ball in the 88th minute of the match. Firmin Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
