Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aubergenville's Jean-Michel Moureaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustapha Huber in the 6th minute of play. Fabien Ruch made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Michel Conte sent off a good shot on target. Mustapha Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jean-Michel Moureaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathis Rocton in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabien Ruch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Fabien Ruch managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Aubergenville's Michel Conte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Michel Conte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lens's Fabien Ruch. Fabien Ruch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Olivier Ferrando in the 26th minute really tested Fabien Ruch's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Mustapha Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Mathis Rocton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aubergenville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathis Rocton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Conte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Fabien Ruch made a huge save. In the 44thth minute of the game Laurent Valles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aubergenville's Jean-Michel Moureaux was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathis Rocton was the one to do the kick off. Jean-Michel Moureaux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurent Valles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Aubergenville booed when Lens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. François-Xavier Jaeger didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Laurent Valles, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jean-Michel Moureaux was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mathis Rocton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabien Ruch having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Geoffrey Wirth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aubergenville and the Lens players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Aubergenville got a freekick which was hit by Geoffrey Wirth. Michel Conte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fabien Ruch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Lens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by François-Xavier Jaeger to maneuver through the defense. François-Xavier Jaeger struck a weak shot in the 90th minute.
