Felicien Vincenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aziz Grenet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Geoffroy Pot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacob Durieux to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Limoges booed when Plantaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Herbaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Groussard's late challenge caught a Limoges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Groussard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute of the match Geoffroy Liger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aziz Grenet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Plantaz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Limoges a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rémy Bailleul, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Plantaz's Ramzi Ciret. 3-0. Ramzi Ciret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoges. Plantaz were furious when Felix Labourdette was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
