Jean-Pascal Sarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Joseph Boudet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fouillouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Boudet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fouillouse's Freddy Dejoux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Mori in the 18th minute of play. Freddy Dejoux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierrick Le Marchand, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Joseph Boudet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Charly Christin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26th play minutes Joseph Boudet shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Charly Christin and just under the crossbar into goal. Charly Christin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Boudet in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Pierrick Le Marchand made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Dejoux. Fouillouse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Colonie's Charly Christin got control of the ball when Pascal Venant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascal Venant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charly Christin having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Mori was the one to do the kick off. Freddy Dejoux stood somewhat misplaced when Robin Mori came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 53 minute. When Robin Mori fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colonie's protests and gave Robin Mori a yellow card for diving instead. Robin Mori hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Robin Mori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Dejoux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Colonie's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Boudet came free, but Charly Christin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charly Christin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Boudet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colonie's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Mori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Dejoux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Pierrick Le Marchand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freddy Dejoux came out of the goal and Pierrick Le Marchand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
