Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ewan Delmon got the match started through his kick off. Ewan Delmon took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Lemarechal. Roman Lemarechal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Somain's Benjamin Cotelle got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ewan Delmon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tourronde's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewan Delmon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Lemarechal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pierre Larrouy fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Somain's protests and gave Pierre Larrouy a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Tourronde got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Fuentes. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tourronde's goalkeeper Yves Dalleau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celestin Raffier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Yves Dalleau made a huge save. Somain's Anatole Michoux got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Tourronde's Yves Dalleau got control of the ball when Celestin Raffier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ange Dumon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roman Lemarechal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ewan Delmon struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Roman Lemarechal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tourronde. If Anatole Michoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theo Gaugain hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Anatole Michoux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yves Dalleau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anatole Michoux was the one to do the kick off. Anatole Michoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Anatole Michoux put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yves Dalleau. When Celestin Raffier came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Somain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestin Raffier couldn't finish the play. If Ange Dumon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Somain's Roman Lemarechal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ewan Delmon in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Celestin Raffier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yves Dalleau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatole Michoux in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Somain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmid Darre to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Yves Drouet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Lemarechal. Somain's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Tourronde's Ewan Delmon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Lemarechal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Somain's Celestin Raffier in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tourronde's goalie prevented a goal. Somain's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
