Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelien Cadieu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Aurelien Cadieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benoit Caumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bauche's Aurelien Cadieu in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chappes's goalie prevented a goal. Benoit Caumont stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelien Cadieu's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Jacques Savidan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Legal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes of play, Chappes's Hugo Legal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacques Savidan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Legal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gilles Labatut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chappes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilles Labatut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacques Savidan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chappes getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Henri Tanguy hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bauche's Antony Le Brun got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Chappes's Gilles Labatut in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bauche's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilles Labatut in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacques Savidan saved Bauche from getting behind. Hugo Legal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilles Labatut to make the kick off. Benoit Caumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelien Cadieu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilles Labatut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Savidan having to interfere. The supporters of Chappes booed when Bauche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Le Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilles Labatut struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jacques Savidan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chappes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Bailly in the 72nd minute of play forced Chappes's goalkeeper Benoit Caumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benoit Caumont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelien Cadieu in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Jean-Marie Rossini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chappes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bauche the free kick. Bauche's Jerome Bailly got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilles Labatut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Savidan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Legal got free with Jacques Savidan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacques Savidan made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Hugo Legal sent off a good shot on target. Gilles Labatut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Grisel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
