Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steven Poly made the kick off which started today's match. Gaude's Octave Le Quellec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Poly in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Steven Poly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houplin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Poly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaud Deborde's late challenge caught a Houplin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaud Deborde helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Gaude:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Houplin:s goal. Octave Le Quellec went to the wrong direction when Simon Le Merrer was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Steven Poly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Poly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Octave Le Quellec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octave Le Quellec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Poly in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gaude! In the 29th minute, Simon Le Merrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Houplin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Houplin's Ramzi Payre got control of the ball when Chris Foy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Hennebert kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, one of Houplin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Houplin's Steven Poly got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Houplin's Luis Duchaussoy got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franz Primault to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steevy Benhamou in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramzi Payre saved Houplin from getting behind. Gaude were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Houplin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fred Meurisse took the corner. 57 minutes into the match, Steven Poly dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octave Le Quellec, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Primault in the 61st minute of play forced Houplin's goalkeeper Ramzi Payre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Franz Primault put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ramzi Payre. Roger Maximin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Duchaussoy got free with Octave Le Quellec in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steevy Benhamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steevy Benhamou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ramzi Payre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Houplin's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Primault came free, but Ramzi Payre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
