Joachim Heckel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jocelyn Marquet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 24th minute of the match Jean Lapierre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joachim Heckel skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Elisabethville's Christopher Lafay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Heckel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Elisabethville's Paul-Henri Falck got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Noël Bardeau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clément Burban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges Tremblay having to interfere. The Croisset players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elisabethville were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frédéric Crampon was the one to do the kick off. Christopher Lafay might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Heckel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christopher Lafay ran back to his position shaking his head. Christopher Lafay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Croisset's Joachim Heckel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Croisset from getting a goal against them. If Noël Bardeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Lafay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Elisabethville booed when Croisset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clément Burban didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Florian Veillard in the 67th minute really tested Joachim Heckel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Frédéric Crampon struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Georges Tremblay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croisset. After 69 minutes, Honore Lair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elisabethville and the Croisset players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, one of Elisabethville:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elisabethville. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Croisset. Alain Viau stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Georges Tremblay. 1-1. Joachim Heckel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Lafay, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Damien Viola hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Christopher Lafay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Croisset's zone, Jocelyn Marquet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Heckel came out of the goal and Jocelyn Marquet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
