Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tom Capelli started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Marie Reynaert in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastien Grelaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Brice Obrecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tom Capelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Callens having to interfere. A collision led to Escalquens getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Diego Bénezet hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Escalquens's Harry Gérard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franz Callens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Lompret's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Capelli came free, but Franz Callens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Capelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Capelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harry Gérard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lompret's Franz Callens got control of the ball when Harry Gérard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Escalquens defense, Brice Obrecht kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bastien Grelaud. The Escalquens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bastien Grelaud should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute, Harry Gérard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Marie Reynaert to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Jean-Marie Reynaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lompret's Erwan Dumez got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Tom Capelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escalquens's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Capelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franz Callens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joe Carette was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Lompret:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Escalquens:s goal. Franz Callens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Capelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 92nd minute Harry Gérard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Callens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Gérard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Escalquens's zone, Erwan Dumez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastien Grelaud came out of the goal and Erwan Dumez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 101st minute Tom Capelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Callens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lompret eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
