Louison Schmit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Quilici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Quilici struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Louison Schmit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esery. Jean-Francois Trabelsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Gaud in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Robert Quilici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louison Schmit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montaudran's Jimmy Bardon got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Esery's Ramzi Paugam made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Louison Schmit was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd match minute, Esery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Henri Alain to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Esery's Jean-Francois Trabelsi got control of the ball when Fabian Seys tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fabian Seys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fabian Seys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Francois Trabelsi was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 36th minute of the match, Fabian Seys tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jean-Francois Trabelsi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabian Seys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Seys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Francois Trabelsi having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Louison Schmit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Quilici's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Montaudran's goalkeeper Louison Schmit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jules Greco. In the 67th minute, Jules Greco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jules Greco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Esery fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Esery's Jules Greco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Charles Gaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre-Henri Alain kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Fabian Seys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Jules Greco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Robert Quilici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean-Francois Trabelsi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Seys's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Charles Gaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montaudran's Charles Gaud got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montaudran's Fabian Seys got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Esery players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
