After 4 minutes, Christian Kozlowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mure and the Deulemont players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Kozlowski kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Mure's Gustave Foulon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyril Modeste in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mure defense, Cyril Modeste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustave Foulon. The Mure fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustave Foulon should have stopped the shot. Jordan Galet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Werle having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jeremy Gourves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deulemont's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremy Gourves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustave Foulon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustave Foulon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyril Modeste, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Renaud Bozon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 28th minute Jordan Galet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Werle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mure booed when Deulemont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Kaminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordan Galet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lucas Werle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mure's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Cyril Modeste scored to the left of an out of position Gustave Foulon, making the score, 0-2. Baptiste Michot's late challenge caught a Deulemont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baptiste Michot helped the player get up and apologised. Gustave Foulon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Kaminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Mure's goalkeeper Gustave Foulon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremy Gourves. Deulemont's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tim Fouilleul in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Deulemont got a freekick which was hit by Tim Fouilleul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kozlowski in the 77th minute of play forced Deulemont's goalkeeper Lucas Werle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deulemont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyril Modeste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Deulemont's zone, Renaud Bozon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Werle came out of the goal and Renaud Bozon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Deulemont echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mure had held the ball for most of the match.
