Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Génicourt's Charly Lievin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rodolphe Antigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Génicourt's Charly Lievin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominique Ritter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rodolphe Antigny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontignan's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolphe Antigny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Etienne Marot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Tommy Sarre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Etienne Marot. Frontignan's Rodolphe Antigny got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Yves Penot notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Frontignan's Dominique Ritter. Dominique Ritter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charly Lievin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Ritter having to interfere. Dominique Ritter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yves Penot went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When Anatole Citerne fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Génicourt's protests and gave Anatole Citerne a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Génicourt getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anatole Citerne hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Frontignan's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Penot came free, but Dominique Ritter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anatole Citerne was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. After 43 played minutes Génicourt got a freekick which was hit by Anatole Citerne. Yves Penot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Sarre to strike the kick off in the second half. Génicourt's Etienne Marot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Sarre in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Génicourt got a freekick which was hit by Charly Lievin. A wasted opportunity for Génicourt. 74 minutes into the game, one of Frontignan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 80 minutes into the match, Frontignan's goalkeeper Dominique Ritter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Penot. When Pierre-Emmanuel Lecerf fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Génicourt's protests and gave Pierre-Emmanuel Lecerf a yellow card for diving instead. Pierre-Emmanuel Lecerf kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Rodolphe Antigny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Etienne Marot having to make a save. In the 100th minute, Tommy Sarre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etienne Marot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Génicourt had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
