Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Frontignan's goalkeeper Dominique Ritter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henri Cavailles. Charles Massonnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dominique Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Canabias's Henri Cavailles in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Charles Massonnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Ritter having to interfere. Moussa Corbeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Sarre in the 30th minute of play. Charles Massonnet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominique Ritter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Dominique Ritter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Cavailles in the 34th minute of play. Rodolphe Antigny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Moussa Corbeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Canabias's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Sarre came free, but Moussa Corbeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Charles Massonnet came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Canabias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Massonnet couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Cavailles was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Charles Massonnet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Charles Massonnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Henri Cavailles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominique Ritter. Frontignan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henri Cavailles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 72 minutes into the match, Canabias's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Sarre came free, but Moussa Corbeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Rodolphe Antigny could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Moussa Corbeau however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Canabias's Moussa Corbeau got control of the ball when Rodolphe Antigny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charles Massonnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moussa Corbeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Sarre in the 87th minute of the match. Frontignan's Dominique Ritter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Cavailles in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Rodolphe Antigny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moussa Corbeau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee gave Canabias a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johnny Mailly, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Frontignan's Dominique Ritter. 2-1. Canabias's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
