The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute Firmin Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Desseaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Simon Pouillard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gitonniére's Philibert Piron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gitonniére fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! After 37 played minutes Onnaing got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Berteaux. Mathys Desseaux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamza Vandenberghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philibert Piron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Pouillard in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Onnaing booed when Gitonniére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ewan Parmentier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gitonniére players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Onnaing were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Pouillard made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Pouillard in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philibert Piron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamza Vandenberghe succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Jacques Bottin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Pouillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philibert Piron having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Pouillard in the 75th minute of play forced Gitonniére's goalkeeper Philibert Piron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gitonniére getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Édouard Degryse hit a great ball. Onnaing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gitonniére the free kick.
