Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stéphane Le Men took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Valérien Lorrain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Valérien Lorrain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Franceschini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Dorian Lambolez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moncheaux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fréjus the free kick. A collision led to Moncheaux getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dorian Lambolez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Moncheaux's zone, Sébastien Talleux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Marie Larsonneur came out of the goal and Sébastien Talleux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sébastien Talleux who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jean-Marie Larsonneur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valérien Lorrain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Fréjus's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Le Men came free, but Emmanuel Franceschini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 43rd minute of the match Dorian Lambolez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dorian Lambolez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Valérien Bignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Fréjus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moncheaux were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valérien Bignon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Valérien Lorrain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Fréjus's goalkeeper Emmanuel Franceschini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valérien Lorrain. After 55 played minutes Fréjus got a freekick which was hit by Fred Douchin. In the 57th minute, Valérien Lorrain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Sam Verin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Fréjus's Gilbert Monnin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Octave Nasri's late challenge caught a Fréjus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octave Nasri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moncheaux getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Octave Nasri hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Moncheaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavian Mazzoni to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Fréjus's Didier Crouzet broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Didier Crouzet fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fréjus's protests and gave Didier Crouzet a yellow card for diving instead. Didier Crouzet kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Flavian Mazzoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valérien Bignon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yoann Leloup during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moncheaux's Yoann Leloup got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Moncheaux's goal looked a bit too open when Sébastien Talleux came free, but Jean-Marie Larsonneur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valérien Bignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valérien Lorrain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Germain Guivarc'h hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Fréjus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florent Janet to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Moncheaux walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
