The Ecquedecques fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ecquedecques's Chris Caparros got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 70th minute, one of Bruz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bruz. The referee gave Ecquedecques a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathias Esquirol, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bruz's Raoul Delacour. 2-0. Johan Cozic's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Farid Le Bihan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecquedecques's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
