Calvin Carnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Routier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymond Routier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The Bernassière fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calvin Carnet should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bernassière's goalkeeper Calvin Carnet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Walter Bordenave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute Walter Bordenave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacome Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Reynier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Pflieger hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pyramide's zone, Walter Bordenave stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacome Ahmed came out of the goal and Walter Bordenave tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
