Donald Gregori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorien Arnault having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Olivier Lemaitre rounded Roeulx's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Nelson Mauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Casas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Roeulx's Victorien Arnault proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Roeulx from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Davy Herr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roeulx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pecquencourt the free kick. Davy Herr hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Olivier Lemaitre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jackson Bayart was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Jackson Bayart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roeulx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jackson Bayart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
