Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benoit Lignon got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Verville defense, Jean-Marc Pascual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emeric Pierrot. The Verville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emeric Pierrot should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Dimitri Schindler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banneix the free kick. The supporters of Banneix booed when Verville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Schindler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Flavian Dutilleul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verville's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavian Dutilleul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Verville's zone, Lorenzo Courrèges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emeric Pierrot came out of the goal and Lorenzo Courrèges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernand Chatellier kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Benoit Lignon came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Verville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benoit Lignon couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Courrèges was the one to do the kick off. Verville's Emeric Pierrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Courrèges in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Verville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Chatellier to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Jean-Marc Pascual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banneix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Marc Pascual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorenzo Courrèges might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emeric Pierrot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Courrèges ran back to his position shaking his head. Emeric Pierrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Courrèges in the 61st minute of play. Baptiste Ayral's late challenge caught a Banneix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baptiste Ayral helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Courrèges in the 63rd minute of play forced Verville's goalkeeper Emeric Pierrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Flavian Dutilleul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Jean-Marc Pascual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysse Meynier kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Jean-Marc Pascual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Marc Pascual struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Emeric Pierrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banneix. 87 minutes into the game, Ulysse Meynier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banneix the free kick. After 88 played minutes, Banneix's Evan Cotton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emeric Pierrot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Banneix reached it. In the 91st minute Benoit Lignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
