Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jordan Berthet got the match started through his kick off. 11 minutes into the game, Michel Cado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nancy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veymerange the free kick. A collision led to Nancy getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Michel Cado hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Nancy's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Carvalho came free, but Hector Baudon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaud Carvalho in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Baudon saved Nancy from getting behind. Jordy Janson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Baudon having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Arnaud Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Baudon. Nancy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaud Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 29 minutes of play, Veymerange's David Lebourgeois made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Baudon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alix Carrion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Verriere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordan Berthet's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaud Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jordy Janson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Hector Baudon made a huge save. Veymerange's Augustin Verriere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gilibert in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Nancy's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Carvalho came free, but Hector Baudon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Baudon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Carvalho in the 67th minute of the match. Jordy Janson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Richard Gilibert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nancy's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Gilibert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Verriere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Nancy's Djamel Brunon got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jordan Berthet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Verriere having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 84th minute when Jordan Berthet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jordan Berthet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augustin Verriere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Alix Carrion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Verriere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordan Berthet went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Veymerange had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
