Arcueil's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jordy Janson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Redouane Dupond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Jordy Janson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veymerange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Janson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Arcueil's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Carvalho came free, but Redouane Dupond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Lahousse kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jordy Janson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Redouane Dupond was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After having played for 24 minutes, Jordy Janson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veymerange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Janson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jordy Janson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordy Janson scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Redouane Dupond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Lahousse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Augustin Verriere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brian Helin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Arcueil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Helin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Anton in the 42nd minute of play forced Veymerange's goalkeeper Augustin Verriere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Antons short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Augustin Verriere to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Augustin Verriere made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Georges Martinetti sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Veymerange were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaud Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Arcueil's Redouane Dupond got control of the ball when Jordy Janson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augustin Verriere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Anton, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Georges Martinetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Verriere having to interfere. Veymerange's Augustin Verriere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Anton in the 59th minute of play. Redouane Dupond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Arnaud Carvalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Georges Martinetti struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Augustin Verriere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcueil. In the 81st minute Georges Martinetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Verriere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Jordy Janson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Arcueil's Redouane Dupond. Redouane Dupond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 90 minutes, Jordy Janson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veymerange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Janson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arnaud Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Veymerange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaud Carvalho couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Veymerange walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
