Émeric Bourrat kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jason Carlotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Karl Labarbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Jason Carlotti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Labarbe. Souchez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jason Carlotti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daryl Thion made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Arnaud Halluin sent off a good shot on target. Daryl Thion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jason Carlotti to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Escautpont's Youri Brenier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl Labarbe. That made the score 2-2 after 53 minutes of play. In the 86th minute, Pacôme Leca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronan Bourdier got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Justin Anselme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Souchez were the better team. Souchez's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
