Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jérôme Jousseaume got the match started through his kick off. Charles-Emmanuel Anfray missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 5 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Charles-Henri Naudon right hand side. After 7 played minutes Christian Zaidi rounded Cesson's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 12 played minutes Monpatour got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Emmanuel Anfray. Amaury Vouillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Yves Marchant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Julien Collette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amaury Vouillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Julien Collette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cesson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julien Collette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Bruant during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florian Bruant kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Anthony Arnold's late challenge caught a Monpatour's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Arnold helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cesson getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Anthony Arnold hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Charles-Emmanuel Anfray sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cesson's Charles-Henri Naudon didn't even have to move. 30 minutes into the game, Léon Liot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monpatour's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesson the free kick. Léon Liot hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Liot got free with Charles-Henri Naudon in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Cesson's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Cahu came free, but Charles-Henri Naudon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Julien Collette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Basile Mette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monpatour's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesson the free kick. Basile Mette kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jérôme Jousseaume in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amaury Vouillon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Léon Liot made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Léon Liot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monpatour fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Monpatour's zone, Julien Collette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amaury Vouillon came out of the goal and Julien Collette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julien Collette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Amaury Vouillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jérôme Jousseaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hamza Armanet fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesson's protests and gave Hamza Armanet a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Cesson got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Armanet. Christian Zaidi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jean-Yves Marchant was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Cesson booed when Monpatour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basile Mette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jérôme Jousseaume was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérôme Jousseaume in the 86th minute of play forced Monpatour's goalkeeper Amaury Vouillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérôme Jousseaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cesson players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monpatour.
