The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paquière's Mathias Chavet got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Greg Jamain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuzelles and the Paquière players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Chuzelles's Jimmy Buatois got control of the ball when Mathias Chavet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Triboulet charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when John-David Bouton made the kick off in the second half. In the last second Philippe Hardouin throw himself and got hold of the ball when John-David Bouton in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jimmy Buatois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Buttin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mathias Chavet came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Paquière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Chavet couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Chavet in the 66th minute of play forced Chuzelles's goalkeeper Jimmy Buatois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Maximilien Leininger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuzelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilien Leininger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philippe Hardouin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximilien Leininger in the 71st minute. 80 minutes into the game, Leon Bretin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paquière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuzelles the free kick. Leon Bretin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Eloi Loubiere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute John-David Bouton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Hardouin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Chavet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Buttin in the 94th minute of play forced Chuzelles's goalkeeper Jimmy Buatois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nathan Buttin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Chavet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Jimmy Buatois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chuzelles players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Paquière from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
