John-David Bouton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florent Bourlon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Buatois having to interfere. If Florent Bourlon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karim Roman fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macou's protests and gave Karim Roman a yellow card for diving instead. Karim Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. John-David Bouton struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lilian Taddei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuzelles. When Karim Roman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. 21 minutes into the game, one of Macou:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Claude Authier shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hakim Le Breton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jimmy Buatois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Delage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Buatois having to interfere. Hakim Le Breton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Chuzelles's Lilian Taddei threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from John-David Bouton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hakim Le Breton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakim Le Breton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Buatois having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hakim Le Breton in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Buatois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John-David Bouton made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Maximilien Leininger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lilian Taddei was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If John-David Bouton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Macou's zone, Maximilien Leininger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lilian Taddei came out of the goal and Maximilien Leininger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Macou's goal looked a bit too open when Greg Jamain came free, but Lilian Taddei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Macou's zone, John-David Bouton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lilian Taddei came out of the goal and John-David Bouton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximilien Leininger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lilian Taddei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakim Le Breton struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jimmy Buatois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macou. Hakim Le Breton succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 76th playminute. Chuzelles's Maximilien Leininger got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakim Le Breton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jimmy Buatois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakim Le Breton succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 90th playminute. Lilian Taddei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilien Leininger, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Greg Jamain might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lilian Taddei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greg Jamain ran back to his position shaking his head. The Macou players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
